3 Great Outdoor Dates For Spring

The flowers, the warm weather, the fresh air – there’s nothing more romantic than springtime, which means it’s the best time for outdoor dates. Nothing breaks the dating ice than a great outdoor activity where you can enjoy nature in all of its splendor. We get it. Springtime outdoor dates can get kind of cheesy, and really cliché. I mean, how many times have we seen the same old picnic in the park?

But what if we told you we were chop full of outdoor dates that you haven’t even thought of? Here are our favorite outdoor dates for spring:

Get artsy with some sidewalk chalk.

Sidewalk chalk was the actual bomb.com back in the day, and if we’re being honest with ourselves, it kind of still is. Nothing will be cuter than making a work of art or playing a giant game of hangman with your significant other. Pro tip: opt for leggings or jeans for this outdoor date so you don’t have to worry about managing a skirt while sitting on the ground.

Get active by going rock climbing.

Drawing not really your thing? No problem. Maybe an active date is more your style.

Rocking climbing is a great way for you and your SO to learn something new together and get your thrill on. Try doing a Google or Yelp search for place in your area where you can give the sport a (supervised) try.

Chow down at the grill.

Okay, so while we know we mentioned that picnics are a little cliché, but this is different – it’s on the grill.

Grab your SO and go on a grocery run where you can grab your favorite meats and veggies for the grill. Cooking together is a great way to get your flirt on and an awesome way to get a little bit of alone time. Besides, is there any better way to bond with someone than over some delicious springtime meals?
