Six years ago, Emily started Spire & Co as a platform for driven young women searching for uplifting content and community. Since then, she's moved from a small barrier island on the Jersey Shore to New York City, where she built S&C while attending Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business. Now, when not working on Spire & Co, she can be found nose-deep in a good book, spinning at SoulCycle, or watching '00s movies.

Katie Labonte is the Executive Editor at Spire & Co, where she assists in managing the weekly Energy Email, the Spire Stacks bookstore, and editorial content. She was born and raised in Connecticut, and is a recent graduate of Fordham University, where she studied Political Science, Middle East Studies, and Theology, and spent a year at the London School of Economics. Katie is a self-proclaimed introvert and foreign policy nerd. When she’s not working on S&C, Katie can be found reading, listening to podcasts, practicing yoga, experimenting in her kitchen, or drinking a giant mug of tea.

Sarah Marie Clifford is a senior theatre major at Seton Hall University right outside of New York City. She considers herself a frequent flyer, having worked overseas in Italy her sophomore and junior years of college. She enjoys writing about mental health and the college experience. As an actor she believes in theatre for social change.
